We work closely with credit union chapters to provide education and community development. The purpose of credit union chapters is two-fold:

• To geographically disseminate communications from the Association and CUNA
   regarding legislative affairs, regulatory issues, educational opportunities, and the
   credit union philosophy.

• To act as an educational arm by informing and training credit unions through
   chapter meetings, classes, and courses of instruction.

The Association plans to develop a chapter message board in 2007 to facilitate communication between the chapters and their Associations.
