Golf Tournament at the Ranch Country Club

Please join us at the Foundation's Annual Golf Tournament on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at the Ranch Country Club in Westminster as we celebrate the Foundation's 25th Anniversary of service to the credit union community. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Foundation's various programs to promote financial education and serve the underserved and disadvantaged in our community. In the furtherance of this mission, the Foundation has disbursed more than $600,000 in grants and scholarships since our inception.
The course is located at 120th Avenue and Tejon Street in Westminster, Colorado. For driving directions and a map to this location, please click here.
Our tournament will include one flight of golf beginning with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. Check-in will begin at 7:00 am and includes a continental breakfast. We are offering a variety of sponsorship packages this year, each including unique benefits to highlight your company's support of the Foundation. Financial Education for a New Generation
“Train the Trainer” Workshops August 8 and 9, 2007
In partnership with Arapahoe Credit Union, Colorado State University Cooperative Extension, and Westerra Credit Union, the Foundation is pleased to offer free workshops for anyone working in the area of financial education to learn more about the National Endowment for Financial Education's (NEFE) new curriculum recently launched in Denver a couple of months ago. The new curriculum, "Financial Education for a New Generation" is a dramatic change from previous materials and teaching tools provided by NEFE. Continuing education units are available for certified educators.
Interested credit union personnel, volunteers, and teachers can select either of these two dates, each at a different location, to serve you: Wednesday, August 8, at the Credit Union Center, located at 4905 West 60th Avenue in Arvada; or Thursday, August 9 at the Westerra Credit Union, located at 13133 East Arapahoe Road in Centennial.
